Day 1 Overview: Hummert Classroom and Hands-On Greenhouse Session
Join our team of subject matter experts for a full day of greenhouse content curated to provide our educator audience with the resources needed to achieve success in the classroom and the greenhouse. You’ll get hands-on time and learn more about the ins and outs of greenhouse maintenance, repair, irrigation, sanitation and so much more. You’ll also learn more about getting started with plants, plugs and cuttings, how to manage a mum and/or poinsettia program, soil testing, pest control and more.
Day 2 Overview: Off-Site Tours
Day 2 will give our short course attendees a behind the scenes look at the endless possibilities within the horticultural industry. From professional growers to research facilities to higher education opportunities and so on, educators will be armed with real-life applications to share with their students.
