The OASIS� WEDGE�, a unique cellular configuration, minimizes the need for dibbling and directs root growth downward for rapid development. Geraniums, for example, are ready to pot in as little as 14 days; Chrysanthemums in 12 days; Poinsettias in 17 days. Which simply means more turns . . . more productivity.
There is no mixing or hydrating necessary. The pH of the medium is in the ideal 5.5-6.5 range with a total soluble salt content of less than 1.1 millimhos/cm. A uniform cell structure assures proper drainage and water holding capacity for optimum air/water balance.
A small amount of 2-1-2 nutrition serves as a plant starter. A special additive is also included to enhance cat-ion exchange capacity.
A TOTAL SYSTEM � To complement this unique shape, the system features a standard 10� x 20� tray size with 102 units. There is also a double strip of two rows of 17 WEDGE units. Three double strips fit nicely into a standard 10� x 20� tray. These are factory filled with ROOTCUBES� medium, a universal size hole, fitting most stem diameters. These units are ideal for fast layout - ready to go with thorough watering, and once plants are rooted the trays are easily packed into shipping
boxes.
