Along with deer, it deters common rose destructive insects, cluding common aphids, mites, Japanese beetles, leafhoppers, greenflies and sawflies. Bobbex dries clear, and due to an extremely effective sticking agent, becomes water-insoluble, so it will endure through several heavy rains. When first applied there is a slight odor that becomes undetectable to humans within 24 hours— but for weeks Rabbits and small herbivores will be turned away.
