The motors are direct drive, and open drip-proof rated. The models A-2.0 are 1/3 hp, 115 volt , and weigh 55 lbs. Model A-3.0/500 is 1/2 hp and weighs 62 lbs. Each model comes complete with coupling, prop and shaft, which are all stainless steel. The clamps adjust to any angle. Due to the weight of the motors, the mixers must be mounted on a separate support and not directly onto the tank.
