HD Unit Heaters with Aluminized Heat Exchangers

For residential, commercial or industrial applications that require a low profile unit heater, Modine offers the Hot Dawg. Capable of being installed just one inch below the ceiling, the superior quality of the Hot Dawg makes it a preferred choice for greenhouses and variety of applications, including garages and workshops.

Standard Features:

  • 18-gauge aluminized steel with gathered bends for added heat exchanger life
  • Low profile casing design constructed of 20-gauge cold-rolled steel
  • High limit control, flame roll-out sensor and pressure switch shuts off gas supply it safety circuit is interrupted
  • Electrostatically-applied, baked on polyester powder paint for durability and corrosion control
  • Factory-installed power exhauster - horizontal or vertical venting
  • Inshot burner for increased serviceability
  • Direct spark ignition
  • Die-formed venturi fans for quiet operation
  • 360 finger-proof fan guard to provide safe operation
  • Adjustable air-deflector blades
  • Two L-shaped mounting brackets
  • Full 10-year warranty on heat exchanger
  • Also available in Separated Combustion Units (HDS)

LP Gas Conversion Kits:

  • 34-1690 fits Unit Heaters HD30A, HD45A, HD60A nad HD 75A
  • 34-1691 fits Unit Heater HD100A
  • 34-1692 fits Unit Heater HD125A
