Woven Reinforced High Density Polyethylene Fabric, Coated with Low Density Polyethylene
MAIWEAVE T-4000 is a high grade polyethylene sheeting designed to withstand excessive mechanical or non-mechanical loading. It is more resistant to high winds, snow loading, etc. than other polyethylene coverings. Light transmission of the clear, is somewhat lower than single sheet poly. MAIWEAVE T-4000
STRONG – The secret of MAIWEAVE T-4000 incredible strength and unusually long life is its unique, three-ply design. The center ply is a tight basket weave of high density polyethylene strands woven in an 8 x 10 pattern per square inch. The fabric is then coated with low density polyethylene film on both sides for a completely water and weather-tight cover. This design makes the sheeting stronger than any other horticultural polyethylene covering. A pen inserted through a sample piece of MAIWEAVE, would take in excess of 100 lbs. of pull to tear the fabric.

LONG LIFE - All polyethylene used in the fabrication of MAIWEAVE T-4000 is treated with Ultra-Violet (UV) inhibitors, enabling the material to have an estimated life span of 3-5 years.
