ENERGY SAVING & SOLAR REFLECTION

XLS FIREBREAK is the industry standard for both energy and shade for commercial greenhouses. While not flame retardant, each panel has tow, integrated Firebreak sections intended to limit panel spread effectively reducing risk of catastrophic fire loss. Also available in the open ‘F’ versions and Obscura, the blackout screen.
XLS REVOLUX is the patented, industry standard flame retardant material for both energy and shade for greenhouses subject to fire codes like schools, institutions and retail locations. According to standard tests, Revolux means flame retardant and is also available in the open ‘F’ versions and Obscura, the blackout screen.
XLS HARMONY REVOLUX: Harmony means light diffusion. Most plants benefit from an even spreading of light which helps avoid hot spots and increases light penetration deeper into the plant canopy. Harmony utilizes white film strips rather than aluminum foils. While not as energy efficient as aluminum, the cooling effect is better and the light passing through the films is completely diffused and widely spread. Also available in the ‘F’ versions.

BLACKOUT/OBSCURA

XLS OBSCURA FIREBREAK and XLS OBSCURA REVOLUX consist of a two layer blackout cloth for creating short days while saving tremendous amounts of energy. The upper layer is all aluminum for unparalleled heat retention and reflectivity to keep cool when pulled during daylight hours. The under layer blocks light leaks from the upper layer and is available in B/B, black on both sides and B/W, which is white on the underside. Use the B/W when using the Obscura as an energy curtain and illuminating with lamps for better light distribution and efficiency. REVOLUX is the flame retardant version.

SOLAR REFLECTION

XLS F FIREBREAK, F HARMONY and F REVOLUX are created for shading and cooling are open in construction between the shading strips. The F FIREBREAK and F REVOLUX use aluminum to create shading. The XLS F HARMONY uses the white film strips that create a better cooling effect and diffuse light in a flame retardant product. Due to these benefits, the F HARMONY is the product to use for shade levels up to 52%. Above that shade level aluminum is required to provide the shading while maintaining the open nature of the screen.

OUTDOOR SHADING & WEATHER PROTECTION

FLS is an outside screen that protects the crop and controls the climate. During the day the screen’s open structure provides solar reflection and cooling - reducing both greenhouse temperature and plant temperature. At night it helps reduce radiated heat loss from the plants. Its structure stimulates aluminium and doesn’t allow light transmission through the film, making it possible to have a reflective, open shade. FLS can be used for rolling, sliding or fixed screen installations.
LS SOLARWOVEN is a double-laminated, triple layer, woven polyfilm product with an anticondensate layer on one side. SOLARWOVEN has all the advantages of a greenhouse film but with a superior strength and life expectancy. It can also be used as a rolling sidewall or as a rectractable roof where cables, fabric keys and hems can be added to finish.
