The WeatherGuard™ is a stand-alone weather override system that protects your greenhouse by overriding normal operations to close vents or retract shade systems when high winds, cold weather, rain or snow might cause damage to your crop or greenhouse. The WeatherGuard™ can be integrated with existing vent machines and temperature controllers such as; the STEP Up, STEP 50a or Versatile Vent. It will monitor outdoor temperature, wind speed, wind direction and precipitation.
