Exposure to heat and sun can result in serious health problems for anyone; but agricultural workers, by the very nature of their jobs, are especially vulnerable. “We get calls every year asking about heat exhaustion and skin cancer,” says Charlotte Halverson, occupational health and safety nurse at the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety in Peosta, Iowa. “In ag, you’re subject to whatever the weather throws at you. In high temperatures and high humidity, you need to be aware.”

The Next Generation of Rootshield

Just like RootShield, Rootshield PLUS+ controls Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Pythium, Thielaviopsis and Cylindrocladium by inhibiting and actively attacking pathogens; ensuring uninterrupted plant growth. RootShield PLUS+ has two active ingredients -Trichoderma harzianum straub T-22 (which is in the original RootShield) as well as the additional Trichoderma virens strain G-41. The new RootShield PLUS+ provides preventative control of soil borne Phytophthora which the original formulation was not labeled for, and has improved control of hot-season Pythium (P. aphanidermatum).
